About Jae

I grew up amidst the vineyards and gently sloping hills of southern Germany. I spent most of my childhood with my nose buried in a book, earning me the nickname “professor.”

The writing bug bit me at the age of eleven. For the last eight years, I’ve been writing mostly in English.

I used to work as a psychologist but gave up my day job in December 2013 to become a full-time writer and a part-time editor. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the best job in the world.

When I’m not writing, I like to spend my time reading, indulging my ice cream and office supply addictions, and watching way too many crime shows.
