As 2025 draws to a close, so does the Sapphic Book Bingo 2025. I hope you enjoyed participating as much as I did organizing it!
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all the readers who joined the reading challenge, to the authors who generously donated books for the big giveaway, and to Erin, who tirelessly helped compile blurbs and links for each post.
Sapphic Book Bingo 2025 stats
Here’s a glimpse at some interesting stats about the Sapphic Book Bingo 2025:
- 3,077 readers downloaded a Sapphic Book Bingo card, with many more following the weekly book recommendation posts to find new books to read, even if they didn’t officially participate in the Sapphic Book Bingo.
- 716 readers joined the Sapphic Book Bingo Goodreads group.
- 797 readers sent in a book bingo card. Note: Cards are still arriving in my inbox, but I only counted the books that were send in within one hour after the deadline (10 a.m. German time on December 31).
- A remarkable 46,224 sapphic books were read for the Sapphic Book Bingo.
- The average number of books each reader read for the Sapphic Book Bingo was 58.
- 66% of participants completed not just a regular bingo card, but also at least one Micro-Tropes card, which represents harder-to-find genres and themes.
- The reader with the most books read for Sapphic Book Bingo read a total of 576 sapphic books in 2025!
More important than the numbers, though, is how much readers enjoyed the Sapphic Book Bingo. I heard from many readers who said the reading challenge helped expand their “reading horizon” and introduced them to new authors and new books they never would have found—or given a chance—otherwise.
The winners of the Sapphic Book Bingo giveaway
Using a random number generator, I drew 15 winners from this year’s participants:
- 5 winners who sent in a bingo card with one complete line. They each won 1 ebook. The winners are: Beth C., Danielle T., Jasmine C., Tina K., and Zee D.
- 5 winners who sent in a completed Micro-Tropes card. They each won 2 ebooks. The winners are: Alyson W., Ásta P., Courtney S., Maddy B., Sarah E.
- 5 winners who sent in a completed regular bingo card. They each won a bundle of 5 books (ebooks or paperbacks or a mix of both—winner’s choice). The winners are: Annalise J., Chelsea F., Dominique B., KC A., and Megan S.
Congratulations! If you are one of the winners, keep an eye on your in-box. I’ll email you today to send you the list of book prizes to choose from.

Thank you for all you do, you are a special person. May 2026 be special for you. Much love and blessings xx✨🥰🤗
Thank you for the roundup. Taking part in both bingo cards inspired me to try a few authors and books I haven’t tried before, and found me a few authors I’ve read all of their stories now. One year I’ll actually send my bingo cards in! I always forget the cutoff time.
Thank you Jae for inspiring so many sapphic readers every single week (for years now) to pick up and try new books.
Somehow, I missed the deadline to turn in the cards. Sigh. Well, I enjoyed participating anyway. I filled two whole cards this year and had a blast. Thanks for hosting.
wow Jae, your book bingo’s were amazing and I can’t wait to start next year’s. I absolutely love your books and so glad to see that my favourite Bachelorette Number 12 was among the top so many times. Thank you once again for all your work and your teams work.
I loved the winners for most read. And this is actually quite… embarrassing? but I didn’t even know you could download a bingo card to do this for some sort of a competition! I just thought the sapphic bingo was something cute you did for the fans to follow along 🤦♀️ I didn’t even know there were winners. oh well, maybe in 2026.
No worries. Everyone uses the book bingo differently. There are many readers who don’t “officially” play or download a bingo card. They just use the posts to find books in categories they enjoy reading. I’ll post the rules and categories of the 2026 Sapphic Book Bingo today. It will contain download links for the new bingo cards too, in case you want to download them.
Sapphic Book Bingo is so much fun and definitely pushes my reading horizons. I look forward to the new categories and recommendation emails. Thank you, Jae, for everything you do!
That’s great to hear! I hope you’ll enjoy the 2026 Sapphic Book Bingo too!
