New or new-to-you sapphic authors

This week’s Sapphic Book Bingo post is another special one. It features a list of sapphic authors who are either new authors or might be new to you.

For the purpose of the Sapphic Book Bingo, “new author” means any author who has published no more than two full-length novels (not counting shorter works such as short stories and novellas).

Below, you’ll find a list of 120 new sapphic authors, plus 220 authors who aren’t recommended as often, so they might be new to you.

120 new sapphic authors

The following authors are considered “new sapphic authors” since they have currently published 1-2 novels:

I asked the 5,000+ readers in my Facebook group for a list of underappreciated sapphic authors who deserve to get more attention. Here’s the list of authors they came up with. Chances are, there are at least a few on the list that you haven’t heard of.

Of course, you can also read any other sapphic book by an author who is new to you.

  2. I did not see her name on the list but I chose Bel Blackwood as my new-to-me-author. She wrote “A Dog Named Bella”.
