Sapphic Slow-burn romances
For this category of the Sapphic Book Bingo, read a sapphic book that is not a romance. It can have a romance subplot, but the romance shouldn’t be the main plot. We had an earlier post covering sapphic historical fiction, but this category is more specific: It includes only books that take place between the years 1901-2000.
In my recommended books list below, I picked one or several books set in each decade of the 20th century, starting with the 1900s and wrapping up with the 1990s.
Today, it’s time to read a book from a genre you don’t usually read. Depending on your reading comfort zone, that could be mystery, historical fiction/historical romance, fantasy, science fiction…or maybe even nonfiction. As long as it has a women-loving women character or theme, any book that isn’t your usual reading fare is fine.

Historical fiction allows us to live the past instead of reading dry facts.
