This week’s Sapphic Book Bingo post is a big one, with a long list of book recommendations. It features sapphic books that are set in a country or a US state you haven’t visited yet.
One of the greatest things about reading is that it transports us to new, faraway places. It enables us to travel the world without leaving the comfort of our homes. For this category, I invite you to travel to a place you haven’t experienced before.

What a diverse and interesting list of books! Amazing how many countries are settings.
Why is there never any books by Carrie Carr or Melissa Good or Ali Vali included in these list. Just curious
We are lucky to live in a time when there are hundreds of new sapphic books published each year. I try my best to include at least 1 book by all authors that I know of, but by now, there are so many books and so many authors, that it’s an impossible task. I can only guarantee an author will have one of their books included in the book bingo if they submitted their book when I had a call for submissions. As you can imagine, putting together the Sapphic Book Bingo is a huge endeavor. I do try to include books by those who didn’t submit, but it’s much easier if authors submit their books. The three authors you mentioned didn’t. However, I have included them in this year’s book bingo; their posts are just a little later in the year. Ali Vali will have a book featured in post #13, Melissa Good in #18, and Carrie Carr in #22. I hope that makes my selection process a little more transparent.
You missed Antarctica!
I just added Antarctica & Rising from Ash!
You’re the best! Hope to see you at GCLS this summer. :-)
Just finished “Diving In” by Sage Donnell. It takes place in Bonaire in the Carribean.
I know this won’t help anyone since this challenge is over, so this is for your reference only (probably), Jae, to add to your book lists or something. It may come in handy for future use, but Nell Stark’s Princess and the Prix takes place in Monaco.
