For this week’s Sapphic Book Bingo category, I would like you to read a book by a new author to give some attention to writers who are just starting out.
For the sake of this reading challenge, I’m defining “newbie authors” as a writer who has published only one or two novel-length books.
In this post, I put together a list of 100+ new authors of sapphic books for you, and I’m constantly adding to it as I find new authors, so keep checking back.

Rand and The Forgotten Realms by Silvia Shaw – new sapphic fantasy novel series I quite enjoyed.
Thanks, Nelle! I just added Silvia Shaw!
“One More Chance” by Tiffany E. Taylor.
Butch/Femme story about loss and healing. Enjoyed a lot.
Tiffany already has three full-length sapphic novels out, so for the sake of this reading challenge, she no longer qualifies as a newbie author. But I’m sure her books fit other categories of the Sapphic Book Bingo!
Learning to Flirt by Kallie Mont. Although I think it would be considered newbie Authors.
I added them, thanks!
I enjoyed The Rainbow Race by Cate Summers but did go looking for the sequel that doesn’t appear to have been written yet.
Lara Hayes, the Redamancy Series, amazing, hair-raisingly intense vampire romance, 2 volumes thus far
I’ll add her! Thanks!
Angie K. Love – Awakening Hearts. FABULOUS story – could not put it down even at 4 a.m.!
Thanks! I added Awakening Hearts and also Awakening Souls.
What about Micaiah Johnson, The Space between Worlds?
I love this audiobook so much, I’ve listened to 7 times already, bought the hard back copy, and the ebook.
