At the end of each month, I always ask the readers in my Facebook group what their favorite sapphic book of the month was. As we are approaching the end of the year, I was curious about what my fellow authors’ favorite sapphic reads of 2022 were, so I asked some of the most popular authors for their top 3 sapphic books they read in 2022. It could be 2022 releases or previously published books they read or re-read this year.

To help guide you toward any new sapphic books you might have missed this year, I also had each author list their newest release.

  11. Thank you to all the sapphic authors. You expand and describe wlw universe. 2022 was chock-a-block full of fantastic reads for me.
    Jae- Just a Touch Away:I fell in love with cuddles. Just Physical: disability conquered by love.
    Conflict of Interest: bone chilling realism of rape
    and climbing back to safety and letting love back in
    Lee Winter- Brutal/Awkward Truth: cheers to the women with sweet fire who melt the world’s complicated ice queens
    E.J. Noyes- Ask, Tell/Ask me Again/If the Shoe Fits/If I don’t Ask: I didn’t understand the experience of being trapped by the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy until these books, these are powerfully written

    And Playing the Role of Herself by K.E. Lane

    And bonus read is the fan fiction of Truth and Measure. I read it earlier this year and it’s one of my favorite fanfics of all time now.

    2. My Gift to You by Abby Taylor.
    3. Army of One by Lexa Luthor.
    4. The Woman Who Climb a Mountain
    by Jamey Moody.
    There are many more great book. I read over 200 books. But these stuck with me.
