Enemies to Lovers Romances (Lesbian Book Bingo #17)

I know many of you have been waiting for the enemies to lovers romance list to be posted since it’s one of the most popular tropes in romance novels.

In an enemies to lovers romance, the two main characters start off hating or disliking each other, maybe because of clashing personalities or because they are rivals competing for the same goal. They’ll be butting heads for a good portion of the book, but all those snarky comments and witty banter translate to a lot of sexual tension.

  1. Hi everyone !!

For this bingo category I’ve read “Second nature” (The Shape-Shifter Series – Book 1) by Jae (Ylva) few weeks ago … and, this year too, I read “Falling Slowly” by Lila Bruce :-)

A few other novels in this square are on my “must-be-purchased-and-read-ASAP”-list …

I’d be glad to win one of those 3 books ’cause I don’t have any of them yet ..
Planning for Love by Erin Dutton
    Tropical Storm by Melissa Good
Anyone But You by KG MacGregor

    Good luck all !!
    Greetings from Reunion

  2. Looking forward to this square. I have read a few of the book already and loved them. I am planning to read falling slowly by Lila Bruce

  3. So happy you included Tropical Storm, by Missy Good because it’s one of my all-time favorite books in any category. My next book from this list will most likely be Jae’s Second Nature… This genre is definitely one of the most fun.

  4. I recently read Harper Bliss Water Under Bridges which is book 5 in the pink bean series. I really enjoyed it. I haven’t read any of the books on this list. I look forward to diving in.

  5. I read Tagan Shepard’s Visiting Hours and Jae’s Paper Love for this one (two bingo cards on the go) but have read Red Files and Party Wall; both are perfect for this category.

  6. Enemies to Lovers is one of my favorite categories. I’ve read most of these and loved them. But I haven’t read “Rook Takes Queen” yet, so that is my choice for this square. Other books I recommend include: “Sparks Like Ours” by Melissa Brayden, “Without a Front: The Producer’s Challenge” by Fletcher DeLancey, “The Walls of Westernfort” by Jane Fletcher, and “Silver Collar” by Gill McKnight.

  7. Hi all! This is not my favorite genre, but surprisingly found several that are great. Red files is really good. I think I will re-read Second Nature.

  8. Maybe “Tropical Storm” or “Second Chances” ? Hard to decide. I first have to finsh “Paper Love” by JAE.
So my weekend is all booked. 📚✨

  9. I’d say the ultimate of this genre for me is “Villains Don’t Date Heroes!” by Mia Archer, where the protagonist, the high-tech super villain Night Terror, meets her match, literally, in the latest superhero to fly into Starlight City: Fialux. She’s like a living goddess… super strength… laser vision… alright, not really laser, but heat vision, but laser sounds cooler… invulnerable to damage… flies faster than the speed of sound… And makes Night Terror feel things she’s never really felt before, for anyone… not since her last boyfriend got teleported halfway across the galaxy by one of her inventions, at least… But she’s never felt like this about a girl before! And, darn it all, VILLAINS DON’T DATE HEROES!

  10. This is a fun category, it’s always interesting and amusing for me to see how they dislike each other but end up together and happily in love, I’m happy one of my favourite books of the category is in this list, that is second nature by Jae, also there are some more that I’m interested in, thanks for sharing

  11. Anyone but You is well worth reading. 2nd nature is one of my all time favorites having read it several times and wanting to read The next one. Tropical storm has been one of my huge favorites as well. I had actually just mentioned this book and series to someone 4 days ago and then it shows up on here. The entire series is just WOW! sounds stupid I know. But after these two finally get the rough spots worked out they tend to get in over their heads several times. The first book is only one that qualifies for this category of course. But if you haven’t read this series definitely do so.
There’s one I want to add to this list but I don’t know if it really counts.. my sisters keeper by Mavis Applewater. They had known each other back in the past but their initial reunion was not a happy one. If you haven’t read her books she has several excellent books. But there is one book that would be so good for this category. I need some help here because I am sure someone knows it. Their first meeting the one was throwing things at her. She oversees a physical therapy outfit. They have a patient that was in a car accident and is now paralyzed from waist down. Her finance walks out on her she is feeling sorry for herself and shuts everyone out. Her regular therapist wasn’t treating her because she was verbally and physically abusive in that she would throw things. His supervisor finds out and goes over to take care of this patient herself. She had to get in through the back of the house and ignored all the yelling and insults the things being thrown at her and won’t take no for an answer as she forces her client to fight back by caring about her life again. now I know someone knows the name of this book. Help an old woman out. Cause this is an excellent book that needs to be on this list.
I will probably read Anyone but You. Again..and 2nd nature. But the red files has got my attention..

    • I am not sure, but your description reminds me a little of two books, Accidental Love by BL Miller and Sheridan’s Fate by Gun Brooke.

  12. Anyone but You by KT McGregor. Great author with great characters. I’ve read the Red Files which was awesome. Expecting the same from this one.

  13. I’ve been a fan of Dar and Kerry for years, read Tropical Storm if haven’t yet. I just finished Red Files, which completed my Bingo Card, loved it.

  14. Such a great list! I read several of them and will defenitly read a few more. I will use The Red Files for this bingo square

  15. I have two square left on my card and this is one of them. There are great suggestions here. This blog entry is just what I needed. Thank you!

  16. I read Survival Instincts by May Dawny and The Road to you by Harper Bliss. I also highly recommend any of the titles recommended by Jae in this list all of them are great!

  17. This square is in the bag! Just read The Road to you this summer. As for Tropical Storm – aww, it’s so nice to still see it on various lists! I and my spouse have two different editions (ditto the sequel, HUrricane Watch), but no ebook – yet.

  18. I have read Ice and Second Chance they are both great!
Think I might read Harper Bliss the road to you or KG’s Anyone but you!

  19. Whitewater rendezvouz by Kim Baldwin was my choice for the first Bingo Card. For the second I will read The Road to You by Harper Bliss.

From the list I have read Ice. That was a great read!

  20. First off.. great list! I already read a couple of them (but not this year). I loved Ice, The Red Files and Tropical Storm! And I just read Rook takes Queen a couple of weeks ago so that one goes on my first card.
But then there are more cards to fill!
I have still so many books to read I can’t choose~! But for this categorie I have some already waiting in line on my TBR pile like:
    Dear me – Robin Alexander
    Paper love – Jae
    First position – Melissa Brayden
Kiss & tell – Saxon Bennett
and now I’m adding Anyone but you and Visiting hours too! I don’t know yet which ones will make it to my other 3 cards yet but they probably will be read someday if not for this bingo! Happy readings everyone!

  21. I won’t lie – this is one of my favorite genres. I’ll probably go through and read all the books from that list (the ones I haven’t already read, anyway). Currently reading “Blend” by Georgia Beers, which is new and fits the genre perfectly!

  22. I will read “Dirty Little War” by C.K. Martin for this square. Just really dig the blurb; it has that (Ali Vali’s) Cain Casey series vibe. There’s just something about lesbians with hella swagger, but also that element of dangerous Romeo & Juliet circumstances in the underground/criminal world. Plus, C.K. Martin is a new-to-me author, so that adds a bit of excitement to the read too.

But, I’ll add the other books on this list and many from the comments to my TBR list, which is as expansive as the universe at this point, lol.

  23. I own both The Road to You and Second Nature but don’t know yet which one I’ll put down for this square. I am trying to see if I can finish 2 cards so perhaps it’ll end up being both.

  24. I haven’t read most of these, but they all seem so interesting. I think I’m most interesting on Anyone but You. Especially since I’ve already read Second Nature.
