Falling stars are supposed to be a lucky sign, but not for Austen. Her new job as a secretary in an international games company isn’t off to a good start. Her first assignment—decorating the Christmas tree in the lobby—results in a trip to the ER after Dee, the company’s second-in-command, gets hit by the star-shaped tree topper.
Dee blames her instant attraction to Austen on her head wound, not the magic of the falling star. She’s determined not to act on it, especially since Austen has no idea that Dee is practically her boss.
Jae shows in Under a Falling Star again that she is an accomplished writer who gives the reader engaging characters and has a knack for developing and pacing an appealing story line.
The ending is more than satisfying for Austen and Dee, without either of them having to compromise who they are to reach it.
The pace was great, the story flowed and I kept being drawn back to the book … Well worth a read.
Heart warming romance, brilliant writing, one not to miss.
With real to life characters, a snappy plot and amazing writing, this is a must read book.
